Cigar Social Network
So I was down at the liquor store today picking up a bottle of razberry vodka for the wife and the salesman pointed out that they had the smaller bottles of 1800 Select Silver 100 Proof Tequila on promo special for 10 bucks normaly 20.
While I am not a huge tequila fan in general, I do like a realy good silver tequila ocasionaly.... So I bought it. It has been sitting up in the cupboard unopened and I have been trying to think of what kind of cigar would go well with a realy good silver tequila... Any ideas, please elaborate on the cigar suggestion and why you think it would lend itself to this particular beverage.
A review I found on a random website of the tequila
Tasting Notes
At first glance, 1800 Select Silver looks like a crystal clear blanco, but a closer look reveals light, golden highlights. The aroma is quite sweet and not at all harsh - tropical fruit, pineapple, with a hint of pepper. It is also sweet on the palate, with an aggressive agave flavor that finishes strong - a bit harsh, but surprisingly short.
I found that adding just a dash of water relieves some of the harshness and helps to release more of the flavor. This is a terrific tequila to shake gently over ice and sip (or for the adventurous, to shoot).

Any smooth and Creamy Maduro, Since the Tequila itself is spicy, I would go with a sweet and strong maduro, not one with spice or very little spice to it and something with that creamy smoke finish. Lots of sticks could fit that description! Pick a favorite. :-) That's my 2 cents.
