Me!

Please call me Herb. My address is:

Herb Kaufman

134 Beach Lane

Dingmans Ferry, Pa., 18328-9221

I would have sent you this sooner but I was "temporarily suspended" from Social Cigar for reasons they cannot explain.

Thanks,

Herb

I wasn't aware of any delay. I got them on Saturday. Some really nice sticks you sent me and I can't figure out why, but I guess you had your reasons. I won't be able to smoke them for another month as I am being operated on February 16th and the %$#@ surgeon took me off my cigars for 2 months (a month before the surgery and a month after.) They will be spending that time in the humi. Around March 16th or so, if you see a large, mushroomed-shaped cloud hanging over the Poconos; don't worry. It's me lighting up again.

I noticed that the thread was missing. Weird stuff. I blame cigar gremlins.

Actually the thread was posted by JB so when he left so did the thread's he started...sucks that it is set up that way.

WHO WANTS SOME FREE CIGARS?

There has to be a scam attached to this thing for sure.

"Free cigars" yeah right keep me outta this scam! I don't want anything "free"!

Last time I took something free it ended up costing me thousand's!

Is it dead now?

There was no scam. Ciro sent them to me and they were really good cigars and I have no idea why he gave them away. It is a good thing to be wary, but sometimes it can cost you. This was one of those times. I wasn't even asked to cover the postage. There are some good people in the world and Ciro  is one of them.

Herbert, I see the rules were never posted when Ciro started this back up.

How The PIF (Pay It Forward) Works

The PIF is a perpetual cigar pass.

1.) A bomb is posted by stating "Who wants some FREE cigars?" or something along those lines.

2.) The Bomb can then be claimed by any active SC member by saying, "I'll Take those cigars."

3.) The Passer accepts or denies the pass by posting mailing date and conformation #.

4.) Once the pass is confirmed you become the new passer and it's time to Pay It Forward.
It's back to # 1.) "Who wants some FREE cigars?"

Rules of the Social Cigar PIF
a.) You must pass at least 5 cigars. Remember, most SC members can't count and you're bomb my have 9,12, 20 cigars
for maximum destructive effects.
b.) An active SC Member is someone that is known on the board and/or live chat. SO start posting and reap the rewards!
c.) To Accept a pass your address must be on your profile or on the SC mailing list. If your address is not yet on the
mailing list, you may add it by contacting TAZDIABLO.
d.) PIF! Don't bog it down. This is a Pay It Forward so try and post your bomb in a reasonable amount of time after you
have been confirmed to receive the pass.
e.) Don't break the pass. We know were your kids go to school, so don't even try to rip off the PIF! :-)
f.) If you have claimed a PIF please wait at least 7 days before claiming your next one.

Most of all HAVE FUN. Pass good cigars. Make someone happy, and Spread that Social Cigar Love!

I believe it's now your turn to offer up a PIF.

Thanx for the input. I have been recovering from an operation and will have to stock up a bit first. I have not lit up a seegar in more than two months and I am going crazy. However, sometime in late April (a rough estimate)I will post for a PIF.

Once again, thank you for setting me straight.

Herb, there's no hurry just get feeling better. I saw that the rules were not posted when Ciro revived the thread so I thought it wise to post them. No offense intended.
