Cigar Social Network

Hello Everyone!

What a great site this is that a friend and cigar store owner recently recommended to me! I am 38 and live in Northern Virginia. I have been smoking cigars for more than 12 years and I really enjoy the entire cigar experience. I am recently retired from the military after 20 years and have started a new career with the government. In my free time I lead a social cigar group that meets every 2 weeks in McLean or Arlington, Virginia for mini-herfs. The group has grown to over 110 people in just a year's time. We usually have about 20 people show up for the events and once a month we have a blind cigar tasting. We really have a good time. The membership and events are free (although I accept $1 donations to help pay for the web site) and if you are local to the Washington, DC area and are interested, here is the web site: http://cigar.meetup.com/50/.

I am also planning to open a nice, private cigar club in the Northern Virginia area with several partners that will be similar to the Metropolitan Society in Northern New Jersey.

Wade, where have you been all my life?

I live in Reston - and I have been searching for such a place as the "Metro Society" in our area.
