Cigars consist of dried and fermented tobacco that is tightly rolled by expert cigar rollers in the shape of a bundle. In order to smoke this dude, you're gonna need to light up one end and inhale from the other end. Cigars are very often found handed out at weddings, anniversaries, and more. It's not uncommon to see them passed around when a business deal closes or your favorite team wins. There are even traditions that deal with cigar smoking: for instance a cigar is bought and held until a goal is achieved; and then the cigar is then smoked in celebration. Cigars are like many other luxury items. They possess an aura of luxury and timelessness that is difficult to replicate any other way.

In case you were wondering, a cigar is nowhere near ready to smoke right after it's been rolled. Do that, and you may as well have tossed it in the trashcan. As cigar smoking has risen in popularity, you can find cigars a wide variety of qualities and flavors.

I couldn't agree more Tommy.

More often than not, when you want to smoke a cigar, the time and/or situation do not warrant it, and you have to put it off until the situation and timing are optimal for enjoying your cigar.
As I've gotten a little bit older in recent years....I've found that I don't like rushing into anything. I've found that sitting back and enjoying a cigar for a brief period of time helps make any decision that needs to be made a little bit easier. The next time that a problem crosses your desk and your not quite sure what to do....sit back, light up, and take a few minutes to enjoy the aroma of your cigar. I'm sure whatever decision you make will be the right one. Even if it's not....you still got to smoke a good cigar.
Totally agree with Mitch on this one. I often smoke one while working especially if I am trying to figure out how to fasten something or solve some other problem inherent to custom cabinetry. I just sit back and stare at the problem while smoking one. When done, the problem seems smaller and easier. Cigars are a wonderful break and just seem to inspire the appropriate amount of reflection needed.
I like lighting up whenever I have time to relax. I don't smoke to just fullfil an oral fixation. I like to sit back and enjoy. So if I have at least 45 minutes to relax then it is a good time to light one up.
I find that the best time is right after dinner. With a full stomach, you can sit back and relax with any cigar you might desire
When I started smoking I would look for any reason to light up..a car drive a long walk outside with the dog etc...more than often I would find myself out of time though to chuck a perfectly good and rather lengthy cigar...so now I only smoke when I know for certain that I will have the time to sit back and savor each puff as it should. The best times for me are during/after grilling or sitting by the pool reading, catching a tan or even in the cool late late evenings accompanied with a bottle of rum.
Unless the wife wants to go to PetSmart then Home Depot then the mall then to get tacos then to Bed Bath and Beyond then to get ice cream then to her parents' then to your parents' then to her grandparents' then to get tacos again then to Home Depot again then finally back home at 10 at night with no time to even smoke a cigar or do anything.

Sounds closer to the truth, right boB? (^_^ )
The best time is when you have the time to take your time and enjoy your...time, with a good cigar. It's one thing you NEVER rush and never interrupt. It's a good morning, a good afternoon or good evening. With friends or alone, it's whenever you want it to be.

Personally, I like my cigars first thing in the morning with my coffee. After dinner is a great time, too, but more often than not, that's when I'm having my second smoke of the day....so both.

A great time to have a cigar is....anytime. (^_^ )
