my father owns The Big Wheel Carryout which is a small business that specializes in beer, wine, and cig sales. After he saw the collection i had acquired this year at school (mostly thanks to bill) and the money they were worth, he thought it would be worthwhile for me to do some research on getting into the cigar business. it wouldnt be anything big just a medium sized humidor with a varied assortment of fine cigars. I have alot of questions:
1. what do i need to do in order to legally sell cigars
2. what size humidor
3.what kinds of cigars to sell (ones that appeal to newbs as well as experienced smokers and ones that wont have to sit in the humi for years to sell)
4. what kind of humidification element
5. where to dealers get their cigars, how do i become a dealer, and what is the average profit margin.
6. anything else i need to know
any help you guys can give would be great. i know many of you guys own or manage your own B&M's so im sure you can help me. Like i said this will not be a huge inventory and not the primary product of the business. just something my dad thought i could contribute and manage in his store while i am home from school.
