Everyone knows all of our favorites because they are posted on out pages, but lets flip the script if we shall. What is the worst cigar you have ever smoked??? But wait, there must be a qualifier... It has to cost more than $5 each (everyone knows that Philly Blunts are not what I am getting at here) I think it might be interesting to see what comes up!

I will start by saying that the worst cigar I have ever smoked is the Nub Connecticut. Now I don't want to trash Nub, because I think a couple of them are decent at best and the size is a cool conversation. But when it comes down too it, the Connecticut by Nub is the worst. The draw is horrible, it finishes quite harsh, and gets very bitter very early on in the smoke.
I had one a little while ago and when I got done I said to myself. :I'm not giving this one another shot"
i'm going to go with a cao also... mine is a cao soprano, soldier.. $15 stick, which smoked terrible.. had to use a poker just to get a draw out of it.. smoked only a third of it, before i finnaly gave up on it..
I really like the CAO Brazilia, MX2, and Extreme. But I was also disapointed by the Soprano and disgusted by the America
All you are paying for with the Soprano is the marketing dollars for the name usage. Although I am going to have to disagree, while the Soprano is not the top of the CAO Chain, I certainly would not place it on the worst cigar I ever smoked list.
i have passed by the sopranos smokes many times, too expensive for what i thought was a gimmick. then the owners son of my local b&m gave me one for free. i have to say i was pleasentely surprised. i believe it was the churchill size. i have definitely had better, but i enjoyed it. and im not a big cao guy. still not worth 15 bucks imho. my answer to the question is odd, because the ITC 10th anniversary has been a great smoke, but i have had a couple that taste like a bag of smashed assholes. they have reblended them, and the old blend, i believe is still in circulation, so that would explain the inconsistency.
oh and a drew estate CI legends. i hate flavored cigars.
"bag of smashed assholes"...ROFL.....too god damn funny
Wow, you must have gotten a bad America. I've had two and they were a couple of the smoothest creamiest smokes I've ever had.
I don't remember if it was over $5 but the Cremosa Cubana is by far the worst thing I have ever smoked...and that includes that twig I lit on fire in the 6th grade and put it in my mouth cause I thought I was cool. If you are searching for a precise flavor description of the Cremosa...let me paint the picture. Kitty litter, wrapped in news paper, dipped in windex and then deep fried in fish oil. Spot on!
Tom,
A shop owner once recommended a Te-Amo to me, told me it was his favorite. I found it harsh, foul smelling, with a hint of horse manure, and eau de rotten alfalfa. Okay, now that I am venting let me include Nestor Maduro as another foul ball. These things are supposedly "highly rated"??? The bundle I got was almost impossible to draw, burned so unevenly I actually mailed the rest back to my supplier.
A dried up Backwoods Smoke that I soaked in Budweiser. I was fishing, out of the good stuff and wanted to try something new.
