I would say screw the big companies and start patronizing your local Micro-brewers.

Ditto. Micro Brews are one of my favorite things about all my traveling. I really enjoy sampling what's being brewed around the country.

I really believe that this whole thing was planned. AB had to cut a billion out of their budget. What better way to do this than to sell out, walk away with a ton of cash and make someone else look like the bad guy when the cuts and union concessions come to pass.

I tried some local brew this weekend, Schlafly's, and will test some others out. The AB management and workers, all made out like bandits with the huge stock jump and will not need my $$ anymore, so piss on them.

Schlafly Reserve Imperial Stout Joe, if you can get your hand on a bottle of this, I don't think you'll be sorry. You can damn near stand a knife up in the foam of this stuff. Aged in Bourbon casks, yeah this one is worth looking for! Put a glass of this on top of your head and your tongue'll beat your brains out to get to it!
