Recruitment Drive - Pay It Forward [PIF]

Hey everyone,

This post is to draw everyone's attention to the fact that we have lost a tremendous amount of involvement in the PIF Cigar Pass. When I first joined this site, there were a great many involved and it was a great way to make new friends and try out new or different cigars... sticks that you might never purchase for yourself. It's a great way to find out what you like and dislike as well [without having to go out and purchase it!].

The number of people involved in it slowly declined over the last year to the point that there are only 5 or 6 BOTL's & SOTL's participating. That's not fun! It has made it stale and no one's really getting anything "new or different". We need to reinvigorate this!

NEWBIES- This an awesome way for you to get involved in SC, meet new folks, and try out some new stogies!! :)

VETERANS- Yes, like me, you may have everything under the sun, but there is always a "surprise" to be had. And, as veterans, you need to lead the way. If the newbies don't see you involved, they're not going to get involved either.

The general rules are as follows:
The PIF is a perpetual cigar pass.

1.) A bomb is posted by stating "Who wants some FREE cigars?" or something along those lines.

2.) The Bomb can then be claimed by any active SC member by saying, "I'll Take those cigars."

3.) The Passer accepts or denies the pass by posting mailing date and conformation #.

4.) Once the pass is confirmed you become the new passer and it's time to Pay It Forward.
It's back to # 1.) "Who wants some FREE cigars?"


Rules of the Social Cigar PIF
a.) You must pass at least 5 cigars. Remember,most SC members can't count and you're bomb my have 9,12, 20 cigars
for maximum destructive effects.
b.) An active SC Member is someone that is known on the board and/or live chat. SO start posting and reap the rewards!
c.) To Accept a pass your address must be on your profile or on the SC mailing list. If your address is not yet on the
mailing list, you may add it by contacting TAZDIABLO.
d.) PIF! Don't bog it down. This is a Pay It Forward so try and post your bomb in a reasonable amount of time after you
have been confirmed to receive the pass.
e.) Don't break the pass. We know were your kids go to school, so don't even try to rip off the PIF! :-)
f.) If you have claimed a PIF please wait at least 7 days before claiming your next one.

Most of all HAVE FUN. Pass good cigars. Make someone happy, and Spread that Social Cigar Love!
