As far as your search for a small desktop humidor, there are a couple of sites that you could try that sell 'imperfects' or 'humidors seconds'. They usually have minor cosmetic or superficial marks or dings that do not affect their ability to maintain a constant humidity.

thank you for your comment. What I would like to buy has to be very crafty and handmade...quality and price are not bargaining...

Define "very crafty". Do you mean you are looking for a humidor that was built by someone who has very good craftsmanship? If so, there are many that can be had.

Please keep in mind that a high price does not always guarantee a quality product. Just like cigars do not have to be expensive to be good, you don't have to pay big bucks to find handmade humidors made with quality craftsmanship.

But if price is no object and you don't mind spending the money, you can find high quality and high prices. Some of the suggestions that have been given are very good sources.

i was reading c.a. ( ya i know !) but they have a colibri carbon fiber accented humidor.. 25 count for 175.00. very nice looking humidor, black lacquer with carbon fiber trim.
