It's not my first preference, but sometimes a carbonated non-alcohol beverage is the best choice available while we're smoking. So, which if any of them work for you?

Diet Dr. Pepper actually works pretty well for me with a cigar. Diet root beer or sasparilla (one smoke shop here sells a lot of it to sit-down customers) combines well with stogies, on my uneducated palate anyhow.

I prefer 101 turkey, then beer, then diet pepsi, then water....
well when I go out its pop when at home Jack will be added
If its pop it has turkey 101 in it or Buffalo Trace, or Makers.
The beverage all depends on the cigar for me. If I am having a bold or full bodied cigar, I am going to have a bold drink. Maybe Wild Turkey 101 (seems to be popular, good to see you guys have taste). If it is a medium cigar then I would go down to jack and coke or beam and coke (not much difference). And if I were smoking a mild (NEVER) I would have Root Beer. The guy who runs the cigar shop by me once told me that if you have root beer with any cigar, it will make it taste better. But I will leave that up to you guys to decide
I drink iced tea with mine sometimes. Seems to help bring out those hidden flavors, really surprised me.
I almost never drink soda's with a cigar, but if I do, it would be a Coke. Even then the syrup in it still makes the flavors of the cigar change too much.
as for me not partaking in alcohol anymore, sober for 16 years now. i do like a dr. pepper with my stoogies also. iced tea works for too, on a hot summer day. every once in a while i will have a non alcoholic beer, odouls amber is perfect with a good puro.
I don't drink any more either...however, I also don't drink any less!
I have to say the I usually have coffee or Coke if it's non-alcaholic, otherwise it's red wine, stout, port, porter, scotch or even a crown and coke. I will have to hit the Class VI (military liquor store) and pick some 101 Turkey to sample this weekend.
I love a good coffee with a cigar. Iced or Hot Tea don't really work for me, that combined with the cigar seemed to make me thirstier. I do like a Coke or a Sprite with a cigar at times.
I like the drink mixer called "Orange Dry". The only proplem is, (if you wnat to call it a problem) is most of the time I end up adding rum. Makes it much better with a cigar.
ill drink a rum and coke with my cigars...but i dont like just pepsi or coke, i think it's too acidic, and i just dont know the blending of the flavors, i like coffee the best, then water...sometimes just straight liquor...rum or bourbon
