Permalink Reply by Craig on February 9, 2012 at 6:58pm I am surprised no body mentioned Indian Tobacco super fuerte maduro. You can buy them for about 2.60 stick for a 6 x 58 ring guage maduro. cant beat that. I typically smoke saint luis rey series g for about 4 bucks a stick. damn good smoke for the money.
Permalink Reply by Buddha Kalutika on February 9, 2012 at 10:02pm The IT cigars are solid smokes. I still enjoy them, even though they are one of the first cigars I had, and they are pretty consistent. I prefer the maduro super fuerte to the natural though. The normal maduro is a little sour for my tastes and feel like it needs age, but I have never let any rest long enough to test it.
Right now I am dying for a good smoke because I have been taken off cigars in prep for an operation. I will be off them for another month after, My present favorite budget smoke is from Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire and it is called Dos Hombres. Found this place quite by accident and have tried their Hondoran which, to me at least, is quite strong and took me a little time to adjust to since I usually prefer a mild flavorful smoke. My favorite however is their box-pressed Dominican. They vary in price from about $43 to $50 for a bundle of 20, depending upon the size. At the price, I don't think you can touch them. I have tried the Rocky Patel Seconds and Vintage and I have the same problem with them that I have with their firsts-consistency. Once Rocky overcomes this problem he will sell more cigars than Cuba does.
