Ten years in the Houston area by way of 40 years in Los Angeles. Don't tell the Texans but there is very little difference between the two. I work part time for Cigar Cigar in Sugar Land, TX after two years as a member of their private cigar club. Married with four children. Family, cigars, music, Ancient Egyptian Cosmology and information systems technology are my passions.

Go to Cigar: Don Tomas Dominican Selection (when and if I can find them. They wen out of production in 2003)
Favorite book: Snow Crash by Neil Stephenson (makes Dan Brown look like a saint)
Music: Jazz, Blues, Reggae (all the original stuff, no copy cats)

Hey Teknu nice avatar. Fellow Texan here only in west Texas. My wife is into ancient Egypt as well. I like aztec, myan and incan history, guess it is the mexican in me LOL.

Welcome to SC this is a great site with a great bunch of people. Enjoy.
Hi Taz. I can't think of a better place to be. I just completed listening to a good audio lecture series called the Conquest of the Americas. It turns out that my African ancestors and yours have more in common the I ever imagined. Not only that, where would we be without the cigars that came out of the Native American side your culture in the islands?

West Texas is closer to my home town Los Angeles than you are to me here in Houston. This is a big state. Where are of the other Lone Star state people?
Hi Tekhnu. Welcome to Social Cigar!

There are several members here that have stated that they reside in Texas. I'm just not sure how many of them are actual regular posters.
Great to have you on board Tekhu!!!!
