Cigar Social Network
I corresponded with Eric Ridgley (aka Eric The Flippin Amazing here at SC). He is the one who is carrying the baton for what is the best party not organized by CigarFest or any of their manufacturers. I know. I have been there and it has only grown since he was under my tutelage (clap clap for E!). I need E to chime in here. He has another web site established strictly for this event. So, POINT US TO IT ERIC! Had it not been for Eric, I would have never met such fine people as Bugs, Paul, Zig, Max, Joe G, Too fu right now to complete the list. Had it not been for Cigar Weekly and SC, I would not have met Eric.
The list does not include those fine folks I have met since my first attendance. Dan, HBD, Tchap and RCarms, Alan Rubin (aka Alec Bradley for the newbies) ...would get the first nods. Forgive me for those I missed. See paragraph one.
I would be willing to attend without a ticket. So much happens outside of the event it is worth while, but that is me. I bet we could all get in with a little creativity. Trust me.
So, I am not driving alone. If I could get Johnny Jones, Mikey Schneider, Carl Tulanko, Torpedo2, Jerry etc, I would consider making the trip.
So, lets get the chatter started.
Do not do a search on previous CigarFest Events. All photos are photoshop'd and most of the information is hearsay and not supported by first hand account. Live this upcoming event. All else is in the past.
I'm updating my interest at Cigars International/CigarFest tonight to see if I can grab 4 tickets. If not, I know plan b better than most.

Permalink Reply by Torpedo2 on May 1, 2011 at 7:56pm Looks like I'm the first to reply about the whole weekend, in short, KILLER! First off hats off to Doctor Cigaro for organizing both the houses and the unbelievable BBQ. "D" and his partner had enough friggin food to feed easily 120 people IMHO. There was enough leftover food Saturday night to feed a Italian Wedding rehearsal dinner. The contest they had both nights for the cigars was well done. The houses were the bomb! pool tables, hot tubs, huge decks with a view, Somebody in the woods playing deliverance music, freaking the shit out the Jersey Boyz. Topped off with some goddess's visiting us on friday night.
The event was better done this year than it was in 2008 which was the last year I went. One of the Goddess's that was at our party on Friday night sold me some raffle tickets while we were in the line to get in, and that ended up fetching me a box of yet to be released Perdomo Reserve Champane Nior's.
Next year I will hook up with the house crew and do it up with them. Great to see some folks that I haven't seen in a few years. Theo is also way hooked on this now bigtime!
What an amazing time, from hanging out at the house with all the other BOTL and SOTL to experiencing Cigarfest. Thank you to Doctor Cigaro for setting up the houses and BBQ and to “D” and his crew for the out of this world food! It was great finally meeting many of the faces behind the names here on SC as well as all the others that haven’t made it over to the site yet. The laughs and great stories will be with me forever and a special “Thank You” to Theo for blowing up every “City Boys” understanding of Cow Tipping. LMFAO!
Looking forward to next year!
(Will have my pics up this evening)
Permalink Reply by Torpedo2 on May 2, 2011 at 3:55pm I'm not surprised that Ciro was ready for a snipe hunt. I discovered that the Jersey Boys were a little slow to get the punch lines.
:-p
Permalink Reply by Doctor Cigaro on May 2, 2011 at 12:59pm Thanks for the kudos, Bill and Ciro. I'll have to add that this was a team effort getting this event together this year and that Mark Merriam [Cigar-Mayhem] and Joe Garcia were very instrumental in helping set this up as well. My thanks goes to both of them for all their help. And of course, my thanks to "D" and his crew for all the master-chef juju that they bring to the event.
I'm really glad that everyone liked the two nights of contest giveaways! That's a lot of fun for me and I really enjoy doing it! That was my third year doing it and we'll try to make it better each year.[Who says you have to attend Cfest to come back with stogies??] Thanks to Clay Hawley and STJB for their contributions to the prize packs as well. ; )
I'd also like to say thanks to everyone who attended and helped chip in to clean up the places before we left... we all bum-rushed it and knocked it out in no time!
We'll be doing it all again next year... hopefully even bigger and better! Those of you who couldn't make it this year, plan on getting there next.... CFest ticket or not! ; )

Thank you to All!
Countdown has begun for Cigarfest 2012!
Had a great time even not knowing any folks! Can't wait for next year!
BTW
Does anyone know who made the NUB Cigar necklace? The guy from NUB had it on, said it was given to him by a Herfer... I'd love to get my hands on one of them if possible.
Chubno was making them. He makes a few vaiations and can put most any label on them.
He brought 25 to C-fest and sold them all Friday. If interested, I'll let him know.
