Now that we've talked about expensive sticks, I wonder what was the best cheap (let's say under $3.00) cigar you've ever smoked? I cannot remember the name, but back in the mid '90s I bought several bundles of great smokes made in the Canary Islands. I remember the band had a palm tree on it and they cost 75 cents a copy! The retailer quit carrying them for some reason.

don jose. now in my memory this was pretty good, but this was pretty early in my smoking career.
Rev done tried 'em...gott'em on CigarBid really cheap once. They were just fine and dandy if not elegant to look at. So turn out the lights and enjoy the smoke!

Peace love and smokes... The Rev
Steve,
Flor del Todo is one I have not tried. Maybe I will give em a go. Have you tried La Vieja Habana? They come from Drew Estate. I went through a box a couple of years ago and thought they were pretty good. Since I am breaking in a new humidor I thought I would stock up on some cheaper smokes since I now have room. God knows what new taxes they will bring on us at any time.
Connies (Consuegra) #9 Maduro. I used to smoke these by the bundle when I was out on the water. They go great with the taste of salt spray, and you could chew on the stub for hours.
Of all the cheapies I've tried, I still really like the Perdomo Fresco line.
This is what I was going to say but you beat me to it! I keep a handful of Frescos in my humi at all times.
had a quorum the other day that was pretty good... $1.75
I am with ya on the Padron Londres. Definitely a good one
This gets my vote as well.
Rev tried them La Fincas and designated them as a Handout Stick to folks who don't know nothing about cigars. Terrible.

Peace, Love and Smokes...The Rev
Flor de Oliva bundles, my fave being the corojo wrapper. They are starting to creep very close to the $3 per stick mark, though. (Thanks to S-CHIP.)
La Gloria Wavell Natural. Nice and creamy for about $20 for a six pack.
