Now that we've talked about expensive sticks, I wonder what was the best cheap (let's say under $3.00) cigar you've ever smoked? I cannot remember the name, but back in the mid '90s I bought several bundles of great smokes made in the Canary Islands. I remember the band had a palm tree on it and they cost 75 cents a copy! The retailer quit carrying them for some reason.
Bernard.
I remember smoking a few of those years ago and they were quite good. I got hooked on La Aurora Cameroons for a while about that time, but now I don't like them all that much. Funny how your tastes change.
Padron Palmas Maduro (have a box in the humi), Primo Del Rey Cazadore Maduro (very similar to the Padron and only $1.50 a stick)
And when I'm bar hoppin on the Harley there is nothin like the indestructable "Backwood Black" oh yea the Bock Y Ca aren't too bad either.
A Honduran bundled cigar my friend Bob Smith who used to own Pipes Unlimited in Utica NY gave me. It was long filler and retailed for 40 cents. It was great. Soon after the factory got bought out and shut down. Sad day for cigars.
The jealous brunettes :) Thanks Randall - smoking is definitely an enjoyable vice that almost anyone can enjoy no matter their background. It brings people together and gives to all without discrimination. How could life be complete without cigars?
