I still need to try anything from this line. my local has the 2008 but they are 23 dollars a piece... I am in love with camacho now lol. That was thanks to you Chris. Perhaps the 2009 will be the first edition i try.
Mmmmmm....I've only got 2 of the '07 and 2 of the '05s left in the humi and I can't wait to get my mitts on the '09s.
So far, the '05 has been my favorite (though it has the obvious advantage of almost 4 extra years of aging). The '07 is awesome too, making me wanna try the '08 and any other years that I can find.
These cigars are pricey... but they are a once a year production and something I am first in line to purchase every year. I can't wait to see them either. Everything from the packaging down to the band/wrapper fascinates me about these cigars.
Ah, that LFD Salomone looks wicked cool. I want to try one, but they are like $30 at Davidoff. People buy 'em though.
I have a Liberty '08 - didn't realize they went back as far as '05. Maybe I'll smoke it this weekend and let you know what I think... I generally don't get all tight in the underpants over limited edition things... I've got plenty of good things to smoke as it is, without spending other money I don't have on cigars I'm not gonna smoke for a long time...
the other LFD double ligeros and oscuros are among my faves, so I'm sure the Salomone would be fantastic. Mmmm, leather and spice. When I first came on the LFDs I'd been smoking a lot of LGC Serie R, good but pretty one-dimensional. That first LFD blew me away - all that flavor and complexity.
Too bad my local sells the 2008 for around 23 dollars. I have been tempted but never submitted. Does anyone know where I can try the previous years for a more reasonable price? I am interested in 07 and 05 especially.
That's about what the tax is on an average cigar in the NY Metro area and the cost of a pack of cigarettes. I'm exagerating (not about the cigs), but not by much.
