Cigar Social Network
Come hang out with an awesome group of cigar lovin folks in Chattanooga TN Friday August 12th and Saturday August 13th with me and many others of the Twitter Cigar Community!
If you are on Twitter and follow any of the cigar reps, bloggers, and cigar community you have probably heard about this event. I actually have had a Twitter account since 2009 but until recently hadn't caught the Twitter bug. Hah that has changed and I must say it is the place to be for cutting edge information on anything and everything that is happening in and around the cigar industry.
I blame my new "Twitter Addiction" on my buddy Allan Buellvas @OlivaAllan and this event as it came up in a discussion we were having when telling him about the blast we all had at Cincytucky I back in April. Unlike cigar events, I really enjoy just getting together and enjoying cigars and the bs that always seems to take place, which to me is the difference in a "Herf" and an cigar event. This sounds like its going to be an awesome Herf and I for one wouldn't miss it!
All of the information you need can be found here (click the links) "The Tiki Bar Online"and the place were we will be gathering is "Burns Tobacconist East" which I can tell you from personal experience is an awesome shop and excellent place for a herf! The event is also being co-sponsered by the guys at "Stogie Review" .
If you are on Twitter and don't follow these guys, what the hell is wrong with you? Here are just some to add to your list:

Permalink Reply by Sandi on August 16, 2011 at 10:44am HUGE NY SHOUT OUT TO JOE ED, TASSIE & DUANE!!!
Thank you to Joe Ed & Tassie for driving me to Chattanooga this weekend, and opening their beautiful home (and Joe Ed's Lounge) to me Sunday while I waited to return to the Soggy Big Apple. Thank you to Duane for sharing cigars with me, as well as giving me advice on my "girly" beer selection. I had a great weekend, and can't wait to do it again.
I had a picture of Joe Ed with a baseball from Friday night's Chattanooga Lookout's game, but damn this laptop and phone have manged to hide the picture from me. In any event, Joe Ed came up with then idea to have all the cigar big wigs sign the ball, and Tassie, at Clube Envy, managed to get everyone to sign it.
Permalink Reply by Just JoeEd.™ on August 20, 2011 at 9:43am Wow what an awesome time we had at the CHAtweetup2011!
Can't even begin to tell you everything that took place over the three days of non-stop cigar smoking and partying we did. As usual I get way too carried away to do a good job of taking pics but I do have a couple to share.
This is a couple of all of the cigars and swag I obtained some purchased like the box of Room101 Namakubi which afforded me raffle tickets to win all the swag...

We hung out with some very awesome folks and I can't name them all but interesting convo's and a great time hanging with two of our own Sandi and Duane (Hoosier) were at the top of what made this a great time for Tassie and me!

Oh and there is a long pretty funny story behind the foul ball obtained at the game Friday evening, also where my new (hopefully) line of lighters idea was hatched. Here is the photo that Sandi couldn't find that was taken as we were leaving and recovered a foul ball from the Chattanooga Lookouts game...hope Allan isn't still mad at me! :-)
As Sandi mentioned we had the ball signed by some of the greats of the industry that attended, Matt Booth Room101 cigars and silver, Steve Ysidron (Stevie Y) of Savinelli, and Sean Williams of Primer Mundo cigars!
Last but not least I leave you with a pic of the Room101 Namakubi cigars which Burns Tobacco received exclusively in time for the event. There is a story that is behind the blending of this limited edition and our host of the event at Burns East Matt Allen will be forever remembered for his contribution. If you ever are in Chattanooga and don't stop by either Burns East or Burns Downtown well then GFY! ;-)
There are already plans for next years CHAtweetup2012 and I will do my best to keep you all in the loop as this is becoming an event rivaling any that are out there. Not because of all the cigars, manufactures, swag, or celebrities but because of the "Social" lifestyle that comes with the love of the leaf! and yes Mark I know you don't tweet brother but you did miss one hell of a party!
