I have a small desktop humidor for my desk at work. I kept some of my cigar overflow in there, nothing too outlandish. Some singles I had picked up at a few cigar stores when I was downstate. My coworkers found out about the sticks and have asked me for one or two over the past week. They like cigars but aren't regular smokers. I don't really want to shoulder the cost of supplying cigars to an office, but I do keep them for a few of my clients.

I'm tempted to buy something okay but inexpensive for the office humi. Something like the house brands from cigar.com or coronacigar.com .

What have you done in similar situations?

I always carry cigars for the occasional smoker. I don't mind giving out cigars, but I pisses me off when I forgot to put a "mooch" cigar in the case. I get more jacked at my self for not preparing than I do giving out cigars, It makes for interesting conversation to meet a new smoker.
Get another tiny humidor that you can stick in a drawer or cabinet, nothing fancy, just as long as it works and holds humidity. Keep your top-shelf private stash there and keep your "visible" humidor filled with a few decent ones on the bottom and a bundle of Flor de Olivas or Perdomo Frescos on top. That way you can give out sticks all day and not feel the burn in your wallet.

But definitely get the hidden one....it's the only way to go if you don't want mooches to know you have good shit, too. (^_^ )
Might I suggest picking up a box of La Vieja Habana by Drew Estate. . . 30-40 bucks a box depending on the size. For the price its a good smoke and you wont feel bad about giving them away.
Sancho Panza is another brand that will please everyone, including your wallet at about $3-5 a stick. Hell, I'd rather have a $4 SP than a $20 Padron or $40 Fuente. (^_^ )
Flor De Oliva is another great bundle cigar that is well worth the money and you wont feel bad sharing as they are a great smoke
2nd that on the La Vieja Habana!! I have both the Maduro and Corojo on hand at all times! Great smokes for the price!
My little desktop humidor holds about 10 smokes. Inside, I currently have about 4 in there- nothing too crazy. I certainly don't mind the occasional cigar share but the guys I work with aren't really smokers. One or two smoke White Owls or Phillies, but no one is a regular smoker. I think I will keep two or three decent smokes in the humidor and keep the rest with something cheap. Maybe the housebrand of a local BnM or the like.
Corona Cigar Co. has an excellent house brand called Ranchero. Woodsy, nutty taste and smell. I smoked the heck out of these when I first got into cigars. Good smoke for cheap!
I would fill up the humi with La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel Gordos
and watch the White Owl crowd turn rainbow colors while they're smoking it.
I don't keep cigars where I work, too many cigar smokers, if they new I had a stash I would be handing out a half dozen or more each week. Or am I being cheap? 6 cigars a week * $3 * 48 weeks = $864
I confess a love of some of the house brands from Corona Cigar- especially during the warmer months when I smoke considerably more than I do in the winter or I find myself at events like weddings. I have a colleague from cigar.com so I have sampled some of their wares and they are fine for what a day-to-day cigar. I have ordered a box of Red Label Torpedos from cigar.com. I'll stash them in the humi and bury a few better sticks for my personal use.

I really keep it for a few of my high-rolling clients. I sell printing and graphic design, so my customers range from small business owners to club promoters to lawyers and doctors. Some of the "high rollers" don't mind dropping in if they know I like to "seal the deal" with a smoke.
Mmmmm....those Red Labels from Cigar.com are awesome. At $40/box, it's a tough maduro to beat....same with the Cuban and Brazilian Labels. (^_^ )
