Cigar Rights Of America Call To Arms!

I'm now issuing a "Call to Arms" to the Social Cigar brothers and sisters to become CRA members if you have not done so already. In speaking with heads of the organization I have been impressed with their model of grass roots beginnings much like the NRA in building a following and lobbying team in battling new tax increases and smoking bans. Not only will your monies go directly to fight new taxes and smoking bans but the membership entitles you to free invites to local cigar events with the major manufacturers and free giveaways. There are currently free trip raffles to Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Honduras. I was already invited to the private members only after party during the big smoke in Connecticut where all the major manufacturers gave out cigars, drinks, and discussed all the issues and concerns with CRA members. As a consumer I really want to support our rights to smoke in more places and let our local governments know that we are tired of those restrictions. To sweeten new membership to the Social Cigar brothers and sisters if you sign up now and SS me that you did I will send you a little something you might enjoy as I believe there is strength in our numbers. The only thing I ask is when you go to their website to become a member please denote that you heard from Christian and include my member # 175966. The more of us that have a voice, the more the politicians have to listen as the bottom line is they want to keep their jobs and need our votes. Just wanted to update that now anyone who joins CRA will receive 2 limited edition size and blend cigars for free. The manufacturers involved are as follows:

Indeed we should go to arms on this cause because we cannot have history repeat itsself.

Big Tobacco like Cigarettes now are the most taxed items in terms of the sin tax. Many of us can remember the days of walking around in smoke filled malls, bars and resteraunts but thanks to the Anti Smoking most of these places are not removing their ask trays and replacing them no smoking signs, while asking their patrons to go around back in the exetreme weather conditions to go have their smoke. Everyone knows that acohol and tobacco go well together, so this really gets in the way of having a good experience.

The anti smoking establishment is largly very popular right now and many if not most belive what they have to saying about smoking and second hand smoke at the drop of a hat while not doing their own research. The Anti smokers tout much research that points to harmful effects of smoking but disregard other studies that point to second hand being harmless and in many cases a positive effect on preventing lung cancer.

But igorance and political correctness has critically wounded the tobacco industry in terms of cigarettes after Phillip Morris and and tobacco companies signed the Master Settlement Agreement which basically tells the companies they can no longer defend themselves aginst the accusations of the anti smokers in saying smoking is harmful to your health.

We as cigar smokers cannot afford to have history repeat itsself and have our rights taken away as well We cannot sit around and allow other people who want our right to enjoy ourselves taken away but simply producing facts that are never consistent in any study as far as the health effects of tobacco are concerned. We must fight these people in any way possible, even if its but educating ourselves about the truth about cigar smoking which if done in moderation yeild minimal increase in lung or heart diseases.

Go to Forces.org to keep up with the news which also hosts scientific research to arm yourselve aginst the anti smoking nazis. This research is conducted in many cases by national goverments and goes aginst the grain of the mainstream. Forces is not a tobacco paid site, its simply a site that calls for common sense and the need for sounder science.

Im in Ny and my friends and myself are solid CRA card carrying MEMBERS.HELL YEAH I believe EVERY CIGAR SMOKER SHOULD JOIN THE FIGHT.THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.LETS NOT FOOL OURSELVES.THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS OUT THERE EVERYDAY FIGHTING TO DESTROY WHAT WE LOVE.SO WE NEED INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE WILLING TO FIGHT FOR US.THATS CRA.SOME OF YOU SPEND MORE ON A CIGAR THAN THE PRICE OF CRA MEMBERSHIP.YOU CANNOT COMPLAIN IF YOU DONT HELP..SO JOIN.

Price tag is what has prevented me from joining thus far. I feel like if I'm going to spend that amount of money, I would rather use it to travel to spend time with other B/SOTLs, rather than joining something so I can get more exclusive freebies (I already have more freebies than I know what to do with...). I guess I need an attitude adjustment...
