Cigar Social Network
This past weekend was once again a true testament to the Social aspect of cigars! We had an absolute blast hanging with the Cincytucky crew, my friggin sides still hurt from all the laughs and good times we had.
Once again I got way to lost in having such a great time to take a lot of photos so I am depending on others such as our professionally outfitted guru aka Dr. of Padronology, Loomis to provide some rather interesting photos of the madness.
Tassie and I personally want to thank Tommy and his wife Sandi for the gracious hospitality opening there home to us for the Friday night festivities and yes there was fire involved!
There are plenty of stories we will laugh about for quite some time, some probably shouldn't be repeated but we all know they will! Just a few tag lines to be expanded upon "Shakin da butane" "The deep touch" "Pitbulls and Pigs" "Building Maintenance" "Cousin Vinny" ...the list goes on and on!
Thank you everyone that attended! We will definitely be looking forward to CINCYTUCKY III...

Permalink Reply by Tommy boy Martin on September 26, 2011 at 9:06am Thank you everyone for attending Friday night. I also had a blast. The Limonchello via Ciro was a big hit. I wish I could have made an appearence Saturday but the body said no. 3 some hours sleep followed by pitching cheese alternative to the health crowd for 6 hours did me in. I was the poster boy for the non healthy.
For those who could not attend, we did not bust your balls too much.
No one was arrested, got burnt or shed blood to my knowledge.
Thus, a very fine get together indeed.
CincyTucky II:
I’m not sure where to even begin. First off a huge THANK YOU! to Tommy and his wife for allowing my cousin and I to stop by and hang out. It was great seeing Just JoeEd (JoeEd), Torp2 (Bill), and Theo again and for finally meeting Loomis (Brian), MMK (Mark), Duane, Micah, Edmund Fitzgerald (Mike), Brian D, Tassie, and (I’m sure that I’ve left a few names out).
The weekend in a flash:
Cousin Vinnie shows up two hours late (He’s lucky he’s family or I would have left his A$$ behind)
An 11 hour drive
Driving in torrential downpours for 41/2 hours (So we couldn’t smoke)
Two jack knifed tractor trailers
A lovely sign upon entering the “Bates” that stated “No loaded guns are allowed on these premises” with a pleasant young lady standing behind a six inch thick bullet proof window (I’m glad I listened to JoeEd and decided to stay here)
A quick stop to our room to drop off our bags and all I can say is WOW! (Note: This is not a good wow)
Meeting up with the group at Tommy’s house
Finally relaxing sitting by the FIRE, smoking, laughing, and drinking! (Thanks for bringing the firewood Torp2)
Watching a Pink Poodle drink his juice with a Pink Flex Straw (Dam Chi-Town Poodles LMFAO!)
Heading back to the “Bates” and seeing two squad cars two doors down from our room.
Phone call from Maintenance to Mark about “Bedbug” spraying (Brings a tear to my eye)
Hanging outside JoeEd’s room smoking, laughing, and texting Fred pictures of what he’s missing out on. LMAO!
Watching Loomis getting spoken to by the Police because of the picture taking of the two wanted criminals that were staying two doors down from us (Once again I’m glad I listened to JoeEd and decided to stay here)
Feeling like a kid in a candy store upon entering “The Party Source”
Finally finding La Liga Privada’s “Flying Pig”
Trying hard not to buy everything in “The Party Source”
Hanging outside on The Party Source’s patio with everyone smoking, drinking, and laughing our A$$’ off.
Getting a welcome to Kentucky package from Theo (Thanks Again!)
Heading over to the Beer Sellar
Eating wings and pizza, smoking, drinking, and laughing our A$$’ off at the Beer Sellar
Watching Cousin Vinnie walk around the Beer Sellar acting like Mayor McCheese
Watching Mark pack his bags getting ready to leave Saturday night because of the fleas (Brings a tear to my eye LMFAO!)
Saying good bye to an amazing weekend and an incredible group of people!
A nine hour drive back home
Memorable quotes:
“Shaking the Butane”
“Bed Bug Spraying”
“Fleas”
“Cousin Vinnie”
“Are you a news reporter?”
“Smoking Loomis’ Shizt”
“You know this isn’t the Hilton”
Also, thanks for capturing my good side in that picture JoeEd. I’ll post what few pics up I have tonight
Oops, even though I just dropped by the Bates Motel for a few minutes on Friday afternoon, I was flagrantly in violation of their Criminal Protection Zone ('No Guns..") sign. And I DO mean flagrantly, like an NFL 15 yard penalty kinda flagrant.
If you guys would like I'll try to work on them about about the stupid signage, but with big chain businesses that's always a tough fight. Or, maybe I can just swipe the sign a day or so ahead of Cincytucky III.
Looking forward to everyone's pictures.
