During my rant about Cheaper Cigars . com I mentioned that I would have a bundle of Cusano P1's shortly and I was asked to rate them.

Well, they came and I have smoked several, enough to give a fairly accurate evaluation.

The size is 7.5x52, this is a little large for my liking and found the first inch and a half to be almost tasteless,  it was actually beyond just mild.

I somked the whole thing and the flavor did pick up and grew as the cigar burned down.

They are named "Medium Sweet Maduro" and I have to admit that I found the sweetness hard to locate.  The are quite mellow but not overly sweet.

I decided after the first one to cut that inch and half off the couple and it made a huge difference.

The cigar smoked better right from the lighting.

It drew well, burned fairly well and definately was up to being medium.

I would have to say that I am not blessed with as delicate a palate as some so I can't really single out the flavors but it was woody and quite pleasant.

I am not sure that I would buy these over the Flor de Oliva Maduro's but they will make a nice change of pace in my "bargain" brands.

Today I am going to enjoy one of my premiums and maybe before Thanksgiving I will give another cut down P1 a try.

Have a great thanksgiving all.

Have a great Thanksgiving yourself, and thanks for the info, buying super premuims al day is just too expensive for most so having a "go to" everyday smoke is valid and reviews like this are important in a lot of ways.
