Figured I would post a few pics of the new humidor I just built.  The cabinet was actually an old liquor cabinet that my Grandfather made.  He was an old German guy and he got the wood from the original stock exchange tables that he used to make this cabinet.

I was running out of room in my old humidor and I wanted to get something bigger and I came up with the idea to change the liquor cabinet into a humidor........several months later here is the finished product!

I used a woodworker in MI to do the Spanish cedar (all 3/4 solid) and added a Cigar Oasis Plus w/ auxiliary kit and led lights.  I placed felt lining along the sides of the sliding doors and in-between the doors to ensure a good breathable seal.

Enjoy!

I lined the doors with 1/4" Spanish Cedar

Back, sides, top, bottom and shelves all 3/4" Spanish cedar

Parts and pieces

Control unit and 2 aux fans - 1 on each level

Right side view

One of the aux fans (put felt inside the mounting to quiet the motor)

led lights
