Do you think it can pair with a cigar? I'm not sure how I feel about this blend but I've got two gins in the house and a lot of cigars so I can start off the experiment tomorrow.
Maybe it would be best mixed. like in a gin and ginger so that there are some complimentary flavors in the drink.

Permalink Reply by Buddha Kalutika on December 27, 2011 at 1:06pm I've got all the herbal ingredients on hand. I think I'll start with a gin pipe tobacco first and see how that goes.

Permalink Reply by Buddha Kalutika on December 31, 2011 at 1:58pm Smoked a Tatuaje Series P a few days back with a glass of gin and I found it to be a nice change. The light gin that I was enjoying helped to clear out the palette and brighten up the next puff. I'm looking forward to trying this with more flavorful cigars. I might get into the habit of having a big glass of water next to the gin though. While the contrast of the gin refreshes your palette, the flavors can obviously carry over into the next draw. That's why I like a gin that's not extremely strong.
