Greetings from Afghanistan

Hello everyone.

My name is Nick and I have been smoking cigars for 4 years now.  Started with Dutch Masters while going to the bars with my college buddies, but luckily one day I stepped into a cigar shop and became good friends with one of the employees who took me under his wing and taught me about good cigars.  Now I am finishing up a 12 month tour in Afghanistan  with the 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne and I can't wait to be home with my wife in a little over two weeks.  Luckily I've had plenty of good cigars to smoke over here.  Christian Eiroa, president of Camacho Cigars, has sent huge amounts of cigars to my unit over the past year and I can't thank him enough.  I have also recieved cigars from people back in the states wanting to say thanks and show support for the troops.  Having a cigar really takes the edge off of things over here. 

I love talking about cigars, reading about cigars, and of course smoking cigars.  I like all kinds, but my favorite kind of cigar is a nice strong full bodied maduro.  I also enjoy beer, any kind of foods, good movies, and classic heavy metal.  I look forward to meeting new friends on this site and hope to exchange in some good discussions soon.
