Just getting excited about hockey season. I know it's still only preseason but I'm still entitled to a little excitement. I am a Penguins fan, we won the first four preseason games but lost to the Blackhawks last night. Looking forward to a great year. Any other hockey fans out there?

Nothing wrong with being a Rangers fan man, they use to have one helluva team. Yes getting rid of Sather would be good, I'm upset that our coach didn't resign Guerin but that's life I guess. Good talking man!
lol, as a Penguins fan I feel you on the Detroit Red Wings. I will say something most Penguins fans won't admit and that is the fact that the Capitals Captain Alexander Ovechkin is a great player however he is not a captain in the sense that he doesn't really manage the team well he is a very talented player but that's about it. Our captain Crosby is a great captain but he seems to only play hard when he wants to and that bothers me. I grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia which was only about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh and have pictures of me in Penguins Baby Clothes. I also played ice hockey for a number of years but gave it up right before high school, I only switched teams one time and that was during my sophomore year I started liking the Buffalo Sabres not sure why but it didn't last, I have to stay true to my Penguins. I love hockey in general though, living here in Atlanta I try to make it to a few thrashers games a year especially when the Penguins come to town. It's hard to get a night out with two young kids but I do my best to make it work.
Sounds like a long time love for the game, that's awesome man. Good talking!
NICE!!!
Love it!
Well greetings to all you Redwing haters and right back at ya!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the Wings and quite frankly all the original six teams, get the Center Ice coverage on satillite so I watch close to 20 games a week, hockey is the greatest contact sport ever...so lace'm up grab a twig and a bisket, drop the gloves and lets get this season goin!!!!!!
On my way to work this morning I was listening to the Radio and they were going to do a game show they called Falconoke which was there version of Karaoke. It was actually really hard, they were going to have several Atlanta Falcon players read lyrics to a song and we were to guess the song. It was difficult because they weren't actually singing it. After about 7 tries they picked up and me and some other guy named Greg made it on as contestants. We were to play head to head, best out of 5. Greg got the first song which was The Killers but I forget which song. The second song was Don't Stop Believing by Journey and surprisingly neither of us got it. That happens to be one of my favorite songs but hearing it read rather than sung is extremely difficult. The next song was AC/DC Back in Black which I got right. Now before I finish my post allow me to say, that I listen to old folk, bluegrass, metal, and 80's rock. I like a lot of Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Tears for Fears, Rush, Men At Work, etc. Thanks to my wonderful wife and 4 year old son singing songs around the house I won the contest. I got the next to songs right which were Katie Perry - California Girls and Justin Beiber - Baby. I had to explain that my wife and kids sing them all the time but it's a good thing they do because I won two tickets to tomorrow nights Atlanta Thrashers season opener against the Capitals. Should be good. The radio station is 92.9 Dave FM in Atlanta, not sure if anyone lives nearby but they give tickets away all the time.
