I have been trying to add this to my list of things I make for a long time. It is really hard to find whole leaf tobacco that is already cured and dried without being WAY under humidified. A great source though can be boxes of cigars. Some cigars come packed in their boxes surrounded by whole leaves. If you go to your local tobacco shop and ask if they carry any such cigars you can often get some for free. there is already a guy at my local that does the same thing so I don't push in on his racket so to speak. Acid ciagrs do this pretty often. It's a good source if you don't mind the acid flavors.
There are some places online that you can get whole leaf ceremonial tobacco as used by Native Americans But I am not sure if that is nicotina rustica, which you want to stay far away from.
Smoke Magazine used to have an ad for a do-it-at-home kind of kit, complete with all the rolling materials, molds, etc., and tobacco. I think it cost something like $200. I haven't combed through the mag recently to see if the ad is still there, but I saw it sometime in the 90s. Let me do a little research, and if I find out anything, I'll let you know.
i ain't that serious, thought maybe it was like rolling your own cigarette, except with some natural leaf tobacco....thanks anyways, maybe u can supply me, hehe B)
I asked a buddy of mines to get in touch with a roller that he works with when he has events to see if maybe I can get a few scraps, even if I have to pay for it I'm sure it can't be much, but what do I know lets see what he says first!
