Hello everyone! My name is Ben Hester, I am currently a student at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. My home is in Arlington, TX between the two big cities of Dallas and Ft. Worth. I am not a heavy smoker, but i do enjoy a relaxing pipe or a cigar every once in a while. I usually smoke with my friend Thomas but not always. I am a novice when it comes to smoking and I am not quite accustomed to the more full bodied smokes. I have not had enough experience with cigars to know what i like and what i don't but i do enjoy a nice pipe of Golden Cavendish or Black Cavendish. I usually will have a glass of Scotch with my smokes. I enjoy the way the scotch and tobaccos compliment each other. I am currently working on a bottle of Glenmorangie Original 10yr, so any suggestions on what will go well with it would be a plus, as well as any light to medium bodied cigars that would help me get to know the intricacies of cigars.
Welcome.
Dunhill Samanas might be a smoke you would enjoy. A Rocky Patel Connecticut is also a fine choice. If you ever wanted a mix of mild-med smokes I'd be glad to put together a sampler for you. We could do it as a trade or a small purchase. If you try either the Dunhill or the Rocky let me know what you think.
