I got a little bored today and after seeing the humidor designed with what looks like cigar bands pasted all over it, I thought to myself "I can do one better". So I gave it the old spirited try and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. What do you think?

(I filled in a few spots and moved a few around...can you guess which ones???)
Yeah, I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Initially, I thought about covering the entire thing but I don't have enough uniques to make it like I want it. In fact, I only just noticed that I used 2 Camacho Coyolar bands....lol.
Elmer's....yes, the same one kids use in Kindergarten.
I thought about a rubber cement or spray adhesive at first, but I decided that if it didn't turn out the way I wanted, Elmer's comes off rather easily. I just dabbed it on the back of each one and spread it around to all corners with a small paint brush.
I'm still debating spraying on a protective lacquer or clear coat varnish of sorts but I need to test them on some spare bands to make sure whatever I use isn't going to bleed or fade the colors or, more importantly, eat the finish on the humidor itself.
I decided not to varnish it since most of the ones I came across have Acetone in them. I'm sure the Acetone would either eat the glue and cause peeling or eat the finish under them....so either way, bad idea, me thinks.
