Need some input

For the past week I have had a a burning in the back of my throat when I cough and even tho i havent had a cigar in a couple of days I still taste it

Anyone else ever experience this..

Occasionally I get that same thing after I have had a smoke and usually it precedes a cough and cold. Sounds strange but I drink a cola on ice and gargle with warm salt water and it seems to get better. i should say that its after I have had like 2-3 good cigars in the previous days, I think the amount or good quality is just shocking my throat or something. See a doc if it stays around to long.

There could be a lot of answers. It may be the start of a cold or flu. It could be strep throat, particularly if you see little, white spots on your throat. And, it could be the start of a throat cancer. If it continues, do not wait; go see your doctor.
