This is my first cigar review and just to let you all know, I've only been smoking cigars for a few years and I have never been able to detect any kind of specific tastes or notes.  I just know if I think a cigar is great, good, decent, or poor.  And for those all around excellent cigars, me and my troops have created the Gerber award.  Gerber award meaning that a cigar is so great that we pull out our Gerber multitools and use them to hold the cigar like a roach clip in order to smoke the absolute last bit out of a cigar.

Last night I tried a Graycliff 1666 Presidente (7' x 48) and overall it was a good cigar.  The Graycliff 1666 has an attractive, dark maduro wrapper.  Once lit, It had a nice easy draw from the first puff all the way down to the last with a very smooth taste that can be easily described as the text book defintion of a medium bodied cigar (not too strong, but I could definitely tell I was smoking a maduro).  The first half of the cigar had an uneven burn.  This could have been due to the wheather since it was fairly breezy last night, but once I got half way down it started to burn evenly and stayed that way all the way to the finish.  I prefer my cigars to have a nice kick to them by the end, but the Graycliff 1666 didn't have much to offer in those terms.  I enjoyed this cigar and would gladly smoke another one if it was offered to me, but I wouldn't go out and spend money on it.  After looking it up and seeing some of the prices it goes for, there are many other brands much cheaper that will give you more bang for your buck.

Hopefully this review gave you an idea on what to expect with a Graycliff 1666 Presidente.  Please feel free to critique me in any way.  Don't worry at all about stepping on my toes or hurting my feelings because I have discovered the perfect release.  I just dramatically and uncontrollably sob like a little girl for half an hour in front of my platoon of medics as they stare at me uncomfortably not sure on what I'm crying about or why I'm making them watch me cry again.  Then suddenly I act like nothing happend and everything is as good as new and as fresh as spring time.

Disclaimer: In case anyone didn't realize, that last statement was a joke.  Since I'm new here I should tell everyone that nothing I say (or type) should ever be taken seriously and more importantly, nothing I state should ever be given much thought.
