Cigar Social Network
The last few years we, The Party Source, as well as alot of other shops have put out a Top 25 list to compare to the one Cigar Aficionado puts out. We decided not to do one this year. It wasn't because of a lack of good smokes or anything like that, it is mostly because we want to come up with a better format for deciding.
I was checking in on Herfer's Paradise the other day, and saw they were putting together their top cigars for the year. This made me me think about one for this board. However I think since this board is different than the rest we should also create our list differently.
Here's my idea:
You cannot just say the name of a cigar. You don't have to give a full on review, but a little insight into what you liked about said cigar should be included.
Additional nominations for the cigar will make it more prominent on the list.
There will be NO BASHING of other people's taste tolerated. You can say it wasn't for you, but there is no reason to trash someone else's cigar.
YEAH I KNOW THIS WILL REQUIRE SOME WORK!
So what are some of your favorite cigars you've had this year?
P.S. They do not have to be new releases.

It's good to see that LGC is doing well without Ernesto at the helm....actually better than he's doing on his own.
Permalink Reply by ryoga81 on December 22, 2010 at 3:08pm That's my second place smoke of the year. The factors that put the Serie N over it for me are the price and it's more full bodied/full flavored.
Other than that though, it's a badass smoke.
i think its the best cigar CAO has made. always have them in stock here
Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial has become one of my top cigars. It has a creamy chocolate taste and it is completly different from the Garcia JJ Maduro with it's peppery tatse I like. The draw and burn have been excellent. I put it up there with the My Father antother of my favorites, but less expensive.
The Camacho Corojo Maduro is another. It has a an even burn and flawless draw. The spice flavor continues through the whole stick. The flavor throws me off every time I fire one up. There is something there I can't describe but it is such a good smoke. I can't even save one for later.
The Dirty Rat goes on my top cigar list also. I'm amazed at all the flavor in this small cigar. It has a cinnamon, coffee, mocha, woodsy flavor. (Just try one.)
And of course the Room 101 Conjura. It starts out slow with a peppery spice and then in the middle it hits you with a earthy, meaty flavor and continues to wow you to the nub.
