Strategy For Longest Ash Competition

So, tomorrow is the 4th Annual Longest Ash Competition at 2 Guys Smoke Shop in Seabrook, NH. Here's the deal: You buy a $20 Cuvee Blanc Churchill and smoke it until the ash falls and you get measured. Whoever has the longest ash wins a trophy, a $195 box of Cuvee Blanc, and bragging rights.

So, I'm going to go and get some video for my blogs, but I was wondering- does anyone have any strategy or tips for me? I mean, aside from not tipping the cigar roughly or setting it down, what else is there to consider? Since everyone is smoking the same cigar, I can't think of any way to get an edge. Any thoughts?

hahaa - that should be a hilarious site - bunch of guys with their head tipped back for an hour.

Nice! Yeah, I don't think I have a chance at winning with my goldfish-like attention span and all, but you're right.....I should get some good video and photos!
