Suspended Members
Over the past two days 100's of members have been randomly suspended. Those suspended have included SC moderators, long time members, my wife, and Camacho employees to include the owner himself Christian. Because of this glitch, anyone suspended 1-3 Feb 2012 has been reinstated. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
We will contact Camacho (hey Dylan!!!!!!!!!) to have them check into this issue.

This is an issue that needs to be looked into. I am sure that many of those 100s of members are so PO'd Social Cigar will NEVER get them back. I am just as sure that Comacho will lose more than a few customers as a result, as well. And, there should be some rule or alogrithm that doesn't allow a member to be suspended without giving a specific reason for being suspended. Nor should any member be suspended without being given a chance to explain why he or she shouldn't be suspended.

Herbert, if some kind of electronic glitch on a computer (where all of us who are not homebound spend WAY too much time on by the way) ticks somebody off so much they stop buying Camachos, I'd say they need to get over such a [sarcasm] cataclysmic event [/sarcasm] and try to move forward with their lives. Maybe they'll realize that [super sarcasm] Optimos and grape White Owls [/super sarcasm] weren't as bad as they remembered.
This kind of stuff happens from time to time, could have been some type of hacker meddling, who knows?

I understand what you sre saying. However, if it was a hacker, I, and I'm sure others, would like to know. Another thing worthy of discussion is whether it could have been prevented and if so, how? And, you have to consider that, if someone sees on his screen that he has been suspended; he may not wait to find out whether it is a glitch. And he may retaliate in any way he can and that way would probably not to buy the product of the sponsor of the site. And I respectfully submit that they don't have to go to Optimos and grape White Owls either. There are plenty of good cigars out there, many of which are less expensive than Camachos.

I don't start trouble, but I am more than willing to help end it. If I think too much it is a problem I do not believe you will be faced with in the not too foreseeable future. I have a fulltime job, in addition to writing and maintaining two homes. I have little time on my hands, especially for nonsense like this. However, on the 16th of this month, I am facing an operation and, if I survive, I will have a LOT of time on my hands for at least a month.
