Social Cigar

Cigar Social Network

Having an endless supply of top rated cigars has spoiled me and I have forgotten the other side of the industry. As more and more retired consumers move to my area they have been asking me to carry some less expensive lines. I have done much research on this and while I have found plenty of cigars in the price range they have requested, I know nothing about them. Can the SC smokers out there educate me on some of the better brands I could carry and how they taste?

yes it is but I need something for $3.00-$4.00
I dunno, I've had some $10 crap too
That's right - just tell 'em, "hey grandpa, sign that Social Security check over to me and I'll make sure you get a steady supply of smokes!"
lol that would be great, with my customer base I could retire in a week...
I recently purchased a box of Tabacos Baez Serie SF and found them to be a very nice smoke.
I carry those and boy do they fly off the shelf at $3.25, problem is my rep is a broker and never has enough for re-order.
you guys have been great and i thank you for all this advice, now I'm throwing another one at you. Can you include the price you paid for these sticks...
that is just what i'm looking for, calling my guy now, bet you it goes to voice mail...
Here's my take on this. In general I don't buy $4 smokes but will pay $30-$50 for a bundle. If the margin % stays the same on cheap sticks as expensive sticks you would have to sell 2-3 times as many sticks. Stay with me...

Do a promo that encourage bundle sales. Buy two Oliva Series V get Flor de Oliva free. Buy a bundle get a "premium" sampler. This will introduce the less expensive sticks while keeping the premium base.
The Tat Series P's where good smokes for the money but I believe they are gone now.
Fred can you loan me $6? (plus tax)
