The Urbano Torpedo Corojo was introduced at IPCRP 2010, This cigar is an all Dominican Puro. The tobaccos are triple fermented aged for 3 years. The cigars come in boxes of 20 and come in 4 Vitolas, Robusto, Torpedo, Churchill, and a 6x60. Pre Light: This is a real well constructed cigar, with nearly invisible seams non soft spots nice aged tobacco aromas coming from the wrapper and foot of the cigar.
First Third: The Urbano Corojo started of nice, with flavors of coffee and nuts followed by a nice spice on the finish. The ash was salt and pepper in color and held on for an inch and a half, tons of smoke coming out of the foot and on the puffs, and about a medium bodied in strength.
Second and last third: The Urbano Corojo like the first third was real tasty. The flavors and body changed though from a coffee to a nice mocha and strength also changed from medium to almost full but still really smooth smoke. The cigar smoked nice and cool smoked it to the last nub did not get harsh at all.
Last Thoughts: In my opinion this cigar is real good loved the Corojo wrapper, This cigar is real smooth and flavorful, it would pair of nicely with any beverage of your choice, would go perfect with a nice cup of coffee or a scotch at night. The Urbano Corojo has a bit for everyone, spice, mocha and nutty flavors. I would recommend this cigar to everybody. Would like to thank Matt Urbano for sending this stick for review.
