PFFFFF!
LOL

mmk . . . we arent all THAT bad
That's like saying that all Texans don't say "yall" (we DO, fuck it, it's how people talk....)

It's still funny though. I've got in-laws that live in Minnesota and yeah, yall ARE that bad....lol.

(^_^ )
but damn it . . . that was my one hope that WI would never bring about the ban
A huge reason why I move to WI from MN was because they weren't buying into the nanny state b.s. yet.
Born and raised in WI

The only place that still feels like home to me still after not living there in almost 5 years due to college and family moving away
Same here in NYC, bustabust. In about 1/2 an hour, I can be in one of two different lounges where I can smoke a cigar and enjoy good company, etc. And if I'm willing to travel a full hour, then I have about 7 or 8 possibilities. And it is nice to go in regular bars and clubs and not get a sore throat and stink to high heaven of foul cigarette smoke (indeed, a couple of the cigar lounges only allow cigars, which I really enjoy). So I'm not too bummed about the smoking ban. I just wish they would allow alcohol to be sold in my favorite uptown place, Cigar Inn - a nice cold beer goes great with my stogie.

As for the accent thing, in Texas it may be "y'all" - where I grew up (Central New Jersey) we said "yuhs".
If only I had a cigar bar near me : /
we have had that in mass for a while now. i can understand restaurants i guess, but i really think it should be left up to the establishments owner. with all the obvious health risks involved with smoking, people who dont want to be around it, would avoid going to, as well as working in, smokey places. the owner would have to decide if the business they pulled from smokers, and those who dont mind it, was enough to justify losing the business from those who refuse to be around it. as far as my personal preference, i prefer a cigar bar's comfortable couches and atmosphere, to a regular bar stool when i want to enjoy a stogie anyway, but i dont really have a choice in the matter because of the ban, so who gives a shit anyway... my fingers hurt.
"...i really think it should be left up to the establishments owner."

Amen bruvvah!
your fingers hurt. lol
Welcome to California. There are still a few place that let you smoke inside, as long as nobody blows the whistle. It is kind of up to the establishment. But there aren't many.
