yes alton did well with the deep jig bite. I was rooting for charlie hartley just cause he was such a nobody.
i cant wait for the weather to break he in Pa. I got my rods ready .

don't like that 30 degree, 10mph winds out there on the lake huh, there must be something those pros know about jigs that I just don't get, I never can get bites on those things even in the pads, plus I have to be careful of the small gators grabbing onto them.

i found that if you use somthing long enough, sooner or later you will get bit.
i cant say that my i am very confident with the deep stuff other than on lake erie.
i havent caught a gater but a snapper here and there.
