The King Fish season is on and we are hitting them big time, yesterday we took 15 just 12m off shore. My buddies like to use live mullet while running smaller teasers just ahead, I on the other hand love using slow trolling plastics. Any of these can produce great results, however with less blood in the water the less chance of sharks hitting or gathering off your tail.

I use ribbon fish when going after king. Just saddle up behind a shrimp boat and go to town. Will be going out in early July to get our limit on them, Reds and a few blacktip if we're lucky.

Good call on the ribbons, however we don't get to many big shrimp boats out here and the ones we do get have to many birds and they get in the lines. Good luck I hope you bust'm bigtime.
