Cigars With Friends
The title of this subject is a bit misleading and has more to do with our friends taking advantage of our love of cigars then it is about smoking them with friends. As a man who considers himself an avid cigar aficionado I roll with them every where I go, I carry them in my shirt pocket, I have a humidor mounted in both my SUV and golf cart, and I have humidor cabinets all over the house. Please don't get me wrong I love sharing cigars with friends and hand them out often, but when does being nice become being taking advantage of. Lately some of the guys have been just helping themselves to smokes, taking them out of the truck, just opening the humidor while golfing, and grabbing them out of my locker at the club. I now have the feeling that it is an expected donation instead of a gift from a friend who cares, what should I do about it, and can I handle it with out offending anyone.

Tonight during my dinner party I talked about this issue with someone who owns a bar and she said that when you are in the business your friends think that you can afford it so why should they pay. She went on to say that she has lost friends over free drinking issues, are they really friends if that is all it takes to end a friendship.
