Just noticed that it had been a while since any new posts and wanted to get to know some of you folks. My name is Mike. I'm primarily a drummer but do play a number of other instruments also. Musically I play a lot of different styles but am more partial to Prog Rock and Southern Rock. I've been a gigging and studio musician for nearly 30 years. Tell me about yourselves.

I'm Ry and I've been playing guitar for 20+ years. Love percussion, but don't have that ability. I'm toying with the idea of joining up with a group, but as a singer. I'll listen to country through metal, but my playing is more rooted in the hard stuff. 7 String guitars and Mesa amps kinda give that away.

Hey man, great to meet you AND to finally seeing that this thing might actually be turned on. lol I've played in and out of bands since I was in Jr. Hi School and am currently playing with a band called Mabel Greer.About 15 years ago, having gotten fed up with the babysitting duties associated with being in a band, I started doing session work in various studios and actually found I made more money with almost none of the hassle. I decided if I was ever going to be in a band again, it would be on my terms. And while it has taken a long time, I can honestly say I'm in the best band I've ever worked with.
