I had a rum called Vizcaya that had a vanilla tint to it, and went very well with the CAO Brazilia I was smoking at a CAO event last summer (Sandi had some of it too - she can tell you more about it than me).

Pyrat XO Reserve. One of my personal favorites. When it comes to cheaper rums I feel that Gosling's Black Seal is a good balance of quality v price.

Yes, the Vizcaya is on my list of rums. Also, I had some rums from Costa Rica and Venezuela a few months ago. Very good rums.
