I love Padron cigars...specially
Damn! I know im late on this but congrats Nesto! those are beautiful!
Nesto, Congrat's on your treasure hunt. IMO you should contact Padron and ask them if they will supply a letter of authenticity. Maybe José Orlando Padrón will sign the letter.
Whao.. nice score!
Great news found out today from Jeff Padron that in fact these are pre millennium cigars, would like to thank Loomis for all his info.
Thanks for the reply Loomis I'm thinking this is a pre 2000 cigar the pic below are cigar bands one is pre 2000 and the other is after 2000 also a close up pic of my cigars, I'm not geting my hopes up yet till I get confirmation that they are authentic.
Nesto, You may be in for a GREAT treat with these, however I don't see a serial number's on the bands.
In March 2001 Padron added serial numbers to all their anniversaries and followed up with the S/N's on their special releases, such as the 40th and 80th anniversaries. This was done due to the counterfeiting of the 1964 Anniversaries. You can read more about this on Pardons website at Padron 1964 Serial Numbers. I'll email a contact at Padron who I'm sure would be able and willing to help to verify your find.
On the other hand of this GREAT news, you may be in possession of a box of counterfeit Padrons. Don't get too excited until you can verify the find. I'll email the contact info to you. Shoot him an email along with a picture or the SC link Padron 1964 Anniversaries or Not so he can see them, don't be surprised if he asks to send a few samples for verification.
Damn I can't wait to try one....LOL
