my new humidor

"I got it from Aristocrat humidors. A bit expensive, over 5k but well worth it. The construction is solid wood, the cedar is top quality and insulated bc it also has an air conditioning unit along with a humidification unit. Holds about 70 boxes and…"

Profile Information

Hometown:
NYC
About Me:
I've been smoking cigars since 2004. My first cigar was a Montecristo No. 2, which was given to me in Iraq (Saddam's Humidor) while I was deployed with the Marine Corps. Throughout this time I have learned a great deal about cigars and I am still wanting to learn more.
Favorite Cigar Brand:
-Padron 1926 and anniversary series
-Opus X
-Davidoff
-Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 and Cabiguan series...Don Peppin blends are great!

CUBAN
-Cohiba double corona 2003 (Limited Edition)
-Hoyo De Monterey double corona
-San Cristobal de la Habana "Murallas"
-Robaina
-Partagas Lusithanias
-Ramon Allones 8-9-8
-Partagas 155th Anniversary ( My Bro Clint gave this to me, and I had the privelege of smoking this at my friends wedding! Outrageous!)
-BASICALLY ALL CUBANS...AGED ARE EVEN BETTER!!! (especially aged Davidoff habanos)
What cigar accessories do you own?
Too Many!
How many box purchases do you make a year?
More than I can smoke.
Did someone invite you to Social Cigar? And if so who?
Google search
These are my two pipes and one of my cigar cabinets.

What else do you smoke? I had a CAO 10th Anny Maduro Saturday night that was really great. It had been resting since June 2008.

I heard the Room 101 was having burn issues, but I haven't tried any. I actually haven't seen that many folks smoking them. Everyone seems to be smoking the La Traviata. I tend to like cigars no one else likes (I like the Partagas Benji Master Series)

Interesting...thanks for letting me know....I'll have to try both cigars soon.

Carlos,
I'm sure that tobacco will work. Sounds like a great tasting tobacco. Put up pics of your pipe(s).

you have to get your friends into the City on a Friday night!! Oh, I had the "Cubao" cigars before, but I really didn't care for it. I'll probably try another one just in case...lol I did have very well aged CAO Maduro 10th Anny last night. I bought it in June 2008 while visiting Cigar International.

Hey Carlos, now sure when the next Cigar Event is, but it seems like a bunch of cigar folks stopped by this past week - Pete Johnson and damn...I forgot the other person...Carillo. Some of the SC folks usually get together every Friday around 8PM, so maybe one Friday, stop by. I'll be there this Friday to celebrate Bryon birthday.

Carlos, I recommend a pipe tobacco called BCA. It is a black cavendish aromatic. Moist, very pleasing taste and aroma. Good for building a insulation inside the pipe bowl. Your local shop may have another selling name for it, but it is a black cavendish tobacco. Let me know if you have any trouble finding it. If so, i can send you some. Happy pipe smoking!
