Nestor Miranda Collection Special Selection Maduro Robusto

Posted on January 30, 2010 at 1:41am 0 Comments

First 1/3 was smooth and kinda creamy with a faintly sweet taste, some leather and a wee bit of spice. Nice start

2nd 1/2 the sweetness faded and I got more of a tobacco taste, still some leather and the spice was a little bit more pronounced. Nothing to write home about. Had to do 1 touch up to correct the burn

Last 1/3 had to relight...but DAMN! The spice amp'd up and a spicey sweet flavor kicked in that was VERY enjoyable. Kind of like a Dentyne gum type of spice is the… Continue

Old Henry Maduro Robusto

Posted on March 1, 2009 at 4:12pm 0 Comments

Keep in mind I just got these OTT last night around 9PM and put them in the humi around 10.

Just finished smoking the Robusto. The cigar is a thing of beauty. Nice dark, shiny, oily wrapper. No blotches,no heavy veining. A really good looking cigar. Very well constructed and firm with zero soft spots.

Clipped beautifully with no stems in sight and the prelight draw is very good with a faint sweet taste. Roasted the foot and we're off to the races.Gonna do this in 1/4's… Continue

Size: 4.50 x 50

Wrapper:Ecuador Sumatran

Binder:Connecticut

Filler:DR/HON/NIC

This is without a doubt my favorite cigar! I got turned on to the Punch Dbl Maduro when I first started hanging out at the table at JR's in Paramus. Since that time my humi has never been without them!

The wrapper is a gorgeous dark brown/black and very oily,it has "delicious" written all over it. It's silky smooth, with no construction flaws whatsoever.Perfectly packed and… Continue

This is DUMB!

Why is it that I cannot paste a review that I have in WORD on my
computer here onto a blog? Makes no sense at all when you can paste
onto the "Post Title" , yet you can't under the "Entry". Great thinking
by whomever created this site.
