Recommend an alternative to Cubans

I've heard so much about Cuban cigars I was wondering if somebody could recommend a comparable brand available here in the US? I enjoy my cigars on the stronger side, ones that are full bodied, with…Continue

Can anybody recommend a decent Humidor

I've been smoking long enough now to realize that my makeshift humidor (cedar strips from my 5 packs in a Chinese take-out tub with a damp sponge) just isn't cutting it. I'm looking for something…Continue

Yellowed Cellophane

I recently bought an 8 pack of el rey de mundos and when I was popping them in my humidor I noticed the cellophane had yellowed. I wasn't sure if this was a good thing, thinking that maybe the esential oils had dried out of the cigars. I went online and many people were suggesting that was a good thing. Any thoughts on this? Should I keep them in my humidor awhile before smoking them? I smoked one and the flavor and burn was very nice but the wrapper was tending to unravel a bit.See More

no
Favorite Local Cigar Shops/ Herf Hangouts
JR Cigar, Whippany NJ. Great place, friendly helpful staff, nice bar, good food. Always have great specials and cigars of all price ranges. They also have a few Herf parties and events throughout the year. Place has a perfume outlet so you can bring some home to your girl. She won't mind the cigar smell so much.

They have a lot of specials and I've got some great slightly aged cigars with those mellow yellow wrappers many of us enjoy.
