I don't feel N.O. can put all their faith in Manning's health and trade Brees without seeing Manning get smacked in the neck a few times nor can they afford to have 2 Pro Bowl QB's and keep one on the bench. Neither P.Manning or Brees needs a veteran QB to coach each other. I can see Manning going to the Steelers, Fins, Jets, Houston, Seahawks,Vikings, and another few teams ahead of N.O.
These past few years have been extremely interesting at the QB position. There's so many very good to excellent players in the position. I don't see this changing in the next 2-3 years either. I don't remember a season let alone a 3-5 year time span that had this much talent at QB in the league, does anyone remember this?
It makes me wonder which team will draft a QB high up in the 1st round. There should be a few QB's left in the 2nd round for less $$$$. It also would be very interesting if Indy used Manning in a trade to get the 2nd pick (which I hear is available) in the 1st round. That would give Indy the 1st, 2nd, and 33rd picks in the 2012 draft. Think about that for a few minutes for a team that's rebuilding....
Unless the Colts can trade for that 2nd pick 1st rounder, I expect Manning to be in Indy 2 more years, and maybe longer if he retires and becomes a QB coach.
Thoughts anyone?
-Which team will pickup to balance of Manning's 90mil contract?
-Will the Colts trade for the 2nd pick?
-Who will be the Colts receivers?
-Who on defense will be healthy on the Colts.
-Does anyone REALLY think I'm crazy if I say the Giants are going to repeat and win the SB again? (Remember that quote)
-Does anyone think I'm crazy when I ask that Pete Johnson, Don Pepin, Jessica Padron and Jammey Garcia and a few other cigar icon's roll and pass out cigars for next years Super Bowl half time.
-Do you think I'm crazy to suggest that Rocky Patel should donate his time to be the official football for the kids half time field goal kicking contest.
-Will the NFL say Fugg it and let Camacho be a
co-sponsor for the Super Bowl?
-Aside from money, is Budweiser any different than Camacho as a sponser?
-Will Mattel the Miami Cain's next year?
