- I was born and raised in LA (Lower Alabama, that is!) by some of the best people on the planet. I learned how to live simply, work hard for what I want, save my money and spend it wisely, love unconditionally, fight when I have to and enjoy the small things in life (Like a cigar and a whiskey with friends).
I just graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a degree in Graphic Design and a Minor in Marketing. I love designing and have become pretty good at it. I was dubbed Student Designer of the Year by the American Advertising Federation's Montgomery Chapter recently. I am currently prowling the job market trying to find an Ad firm where I will fit in as a creative.
I recently got married to the best woman in the world. Just to give you some insight into how awesome she is: her wedding gift to me was a limited edition Xikar cutter. It is so awesome and beautiful, I almost dont even want to use it! It is the first in a series of 4 and I plan to collect them all. Sarah and I live happily here in Montgomery in our 3-bedroom starter. Working on our house has become a favorite past time of mine. Lighting up a stogie and working in the yard or garage is very fulfilling as many of you can attest to.
I have fought Mixed Martial Arts on and off for about four years now and am who I am, in large, because of it. It has taught me a lot about myself and the art form of fighting. It has hardened me mentally and physically and given me self-discipline in a way nothing else could have. About two years into training, my coaches gave me the nickname "HorsePower" because of my tendency/ability to accelerate the tempo of a fight or sparring session very quickly. The nickname has stuck because it kind of fits my personality and lifestyle too. I am laid back most of the time and wide open the rest of the time. So if you're ever in Montgomery and need a sparring partner, I'm there!
I smoke every chance I get. I enjoy sitting down with a couple of friends and enjoying a good smoke while solving the world's problems. I prefer a maduro wrapper in a toro or robusto size. I don't care for conneticut or sumatra wrappers, usually, but have found several exceptions. Perdomo is my smoke of choice, but I haven't found a brand yet that I dont like at least something from their line.
I bought my first humidor from cheaphumidors.com about six months ago. It is pretty nice, but nothing fancy. It's a 50-count leather-top. It currently sits on my nightstand stuffed with the best smokes I can afford! I take a lot of pride in my budding cigar collection and can't wait to watch it grow.

- Yeah, Fred out at F & M is a good guy. They have a huge selection as well, but I don't usually smoke there. Smoking lounge, while not bad, seems to lack something...can't put my finger on it.
I also love Prattville Cigar Co. Good selection, good people and good smoking lounge.
