Arturo replied to JohnLongIsland's discussion 'Today's Smokes 1/17/12'
In addition to the above, this was pretty much a Camacho day, except for the Nica Libre Potencia robusto.  I also had a Camacho SLR maduro robusto, a Camacho limited Harvest toro, and a Camacho limited Harvest robusto, in that order.

Sadly, they have gone the way of the dodo and the albatross.  I, too, have searched all over on the internet, and they are all "out of stock".  Fortunately for me, however, I do have an unopened box yet and 2-3 tubes left…

Arturo replied to Phil Kohn's discussion 'My dog, Zeke'
I'm so sorry to read the words of your loss!  Having had to put my first dog down about 12 years ago, I swore I'd never get another, but within three months, went to the local shelter and got the one I have right now.  Now,…

Contrary to what Dylan stated, it was NOT a JR "exclusive", as it was sold by quite a number of houses on the internet.  Unfortunately, it did not last long...probably because it was an internet cigar and not one usually sold at cigar…

Arturo replied to Ade' The New Yorker.'s discussion 'CUBAN CIGARS: HELLUVA CIGAR OR HYPE OF A CIGAR?'
I enjoy La Flor de Cano, Cuban.  It's not among the primos, but I do like them on occasion.  I also enjoy the Partagas 898 and the Cohiba Esplendido, as well as the Romeo y Julieta Coronas en Cedro.  The Montecristos are a tad…

I started smoking cigars on a regular basis in 1999.  The first cigars I had were Cubans and I smoked a lot of them because I could get them legally, even though I live in Ohio.  When the borders were finally sealed off in 2001, I turned…

I can understand your position. Many of the local smokers who regularly congregate at The Wharf are looking to start their own cigar club--a private place to enjoy cigars and pipes. If you and your friends would be interested in more information please let me know. You would certainly be welcome.

Didn't hear back if you got your info for your trip yet. If not, looks like your best bet is to comment to Christian and or Dylan and ask for their help. I'll be back Monday week!
email the home addy if you need to. I'll be leaving in the morning. I can ask Christian as well tomorrow afternoon.

Hey Arturo! I was kidding a bit on the heat thing. I just had to go there because of the visitors we get through here all the time from up North. I still struggle with the humidity after all the years here. I found out this weekend, our shop is doing a junket to Drew Estates this fall. I saw the pics and videos and that looks like a great trip!

Thanks for the input on Danli. Sounds like the guys down at the Cigar shop I'm going with have down played the weather in Danli this time of year. But they did echo the clothing part. Maybe your just sensitive to the warm weather down there from living up there in Ohio?? LOL. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it, sounds like they have a lot of fun at the 'Camp'.
Drew Estates huh? I have to admit thats one I haven't tried before. I'll have to check into that one.
