I'll give you that; NC and SC are virtually two different worlds they just happended to be all rolled into one great state. During the summer I spent a couple of weeks in Chico and noticed how much different it was from many of its neighboring cities. Oregon is nice, but a bit too slow for my taste. Also, living in the OC is definitely a have and have nots city and Disney owns every damn thing as well.

I am not sure what your reasons to leave would be or where you prefer to be, but I'm a Cali man so I can relate to her. I have lived in other state and countries for that matter. I fell in love with the Central Coast after only one visit and I have been here for the past 9 years now. Its a happy medium for us since we are in in between LA and Sac. Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Monterey are as nice as it gets for the family and I. Being in SC did put me closer to Vegas though! LOL

You are correct, I like my cigars, beer and football.

SC is a cool place to be as well. I grew up there or should I say down there most of my like, now I live on the Central Coast; less traffic, smog, and people. Actually I miss some of the nightlife though.
