I'm a huge fan of matches as well. Oliva has some promotion matches that light easily and are a good 4 inches long.
I want someone to make hardwood matches. They would have to light very hot but they would burn for a year.

When i really have the time i love the long wooden matches. I think there is a certain style and effort put in to lighting the perfect stick you have waited for after a long day. when on the go I use my Xikar lighter.

I still need to find a good lighter that lasts. I am not particularly nice to my lighters so the cheapo plastic ones don't survive for very long.
